John is still enjoying himself keeping the Beat going for Tony and his band

At the end of Spandau Ballet, John dabbled in a number of bands. The first of these was called 69 Daze. They consisted of James 'Jim' Riley - lead vocals and harmonica, John Keeble - drums, Chris Dollimore - guitar and Steve Smile - bass. They played a few live gigs, but made no recordings. John then joined a band called "The Herbs". The line up for this was James 'Jim' Riley - lead vocals, harmonica, guitar, John Keeble - drums Dean Howard - lead guitar and Russell Kennedy - bass. The Herbs made one CD entitled "The Other Side". This was only ever released on demo format, never to the shops and is extremely hard to find. Today John is a constant member of Tony's band, touring the World with him and playing on his recordings.
